Jan 12 , 3 more grateful things
http://www.aholyexperience.com/ continuing to count grateful things. Today it is something above you, beneath you and beside you......Well of course I would say Jesus! But in the pictures are other things as well--the trees towering outside of my window, good books, mags, etc beneath me, and my dangle earrings when I am sick with a cold (just makes me feel a wee bit better). Here is a prayer I found in the book that is pictured:
Lord, grant that I may always allow myself to be guided by You, always follow Your plans, and perfectly accomplish Your holy will. Grant that in all things, great and small, today and all the days of life, I may do whatever You may require of me. Help me to respond to the slightest prompting of Your grace, so that I may be Your trustworthy instrument. May Your will be done in time and eternity, by me, in me, and through me. Amen
PS. I am also very thankful for a patient , loving , husband!

I have enjoyed reading through your lists of gifts! It's great seeing things through someone else's eyes!
ReplyDeleteI think it is wonderful when I'm just reading along about recipes and blogger's home projects to come upon one that makes me stop, think, pray and be thankful. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteGreat Prayer to take to heart.

You're not feeling better yet? This is probably a good exercise for you, counting your blessings. Sometimes I find that hard to do when I am sick. I like the things you mentioned today. I am always thankful for the Lord, too.
