This is what I got for my hubby for V. Day--isn't it cute. it is from
http://vintagesockmonkey.blogspot.com/ --her son made it--it is adorable and my husband said he was so impressed by its craftsmanship. I have more pics on my monkey blog at
http://monkeybusiness-nannykim.blogspot.com/These are the first of bigger pictures of my grandson--he will hopefully be born in July!!
I am excited--he even looks like he is smiling.
It's amazing how you can see a baby before he's even born. He looks like he is sucking his thump in the first picture.
ReplyDeleteNice choice for Wordless Wednesday.
Congratulations.....this is so sweet
ReplyDeleteDeby

ReplyDeleteMany more blessings this Valentines.
The 3-D ultrasounds are so awesome! They should be a requirement for anyone thinking of an abortion. Our teeny little Emma looked so much like her sister Feisty that we couldn't believe it!

What a pretty baby. That top picture is amazing!
ReplyDeleteThe sock monkey is cute too!
Congratulations, that is so exciting.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting to have pictures of your grandson before he's born. Modern day wonders never cease. How people can see pictures like these and think that having an abortion is fine is beyond me.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I'll be answering your question about the book Windows of the Soul in my blog tomorrow.
Cute monkey your hubbby gave to you.
ReplyDeleteYour grandson is already a little cutie-pie isn't he! Congrats!
Isn't it amazing?
ReplyDeleteSusan

First, I love the little sock monkey!! Second, I already commented on the baby (3rd one down). For the 30 project, I think if you were away, you could do one of two things (depending on how long you were gone) You could either suspend it until you were back and make it 30 days at home or take pictures while you're gone and record posts or at least the ideas and catch up online once you return. Or, you could find a month where you wouldn't be gone. I'm going to put all of it into a scrapbook once I'm done. Thanks for the nice comment.
ReplyDeleteI love the sock monkey. I also love the 3d sonogram. It makes you think of the miracle that the birth of child truly is.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! What a dear sweet child. Now you will have both girl and boy. Blessings, Kathi
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little monkey! I love the baby pics. Technology is so amazing!
ReplyDeleteWhat precious pictures! Congratulations on your new family addition. The sock monkey is adorable, too:)
ReplyDeleteHe is so cute, the monkey I mean. As for your grandbaby as I said before he is just too gorgeous for words. What a blessing.
ReplyDeleteHugs.

Thanks for visiting my Show & Tell today. Here's the Brighton web site: http://www.brighton.com/
ReplyDeleteBrighton jewelry is silver, no nickel. It doesn't tarnish though. I have a severe reaction to anything with nickel in it but have never had any problem with Brighton jewelry.
Have a great day!
Congratulations! I love your little sock monkey. Too cute!
ReplyDeleteCutest little sockmonkey!! Also marvelous pix of the growing baby! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThe monkey is adorable! Both actually as my friend's have always called their little ones monkey's as that's how they feel inside.
ReplyDeleteKim, i have an award for you on my posting today, Feb., 15th, in case you don't get back here today, lol.
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend.
For the scrapbook on the 30 days, I'm thinking of using an 8x8 size. I've saved all the pictures in a folder on my desktop. I'll print those and use the blog for the journaling. I won't actually print the blog pages themselves. I'm using it as inspiration. I plan on doing the same thing with some of the family stories I've written about as well as the journaling I wrote through my grandmother's passing. If you need more info, just ask. I'm sure I'll post pictures once it's completed.
ReplyDeleteaww! congratulations on your new grandson--i know you just can't wait! i think the sock monkey is just so sweet too!
ReplyDeletehey nannykim...
ReplyDeletecongratulations on the new baby grandson...awesome! july will be here before you know it!

ReplyDeleteCielo
How very nice ! the pictures are so clear ! I wish we could have been able to do that with our kids, but in 1973 it didn't exist !
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, Kim. I didn't realize you don't like "tags". It was called an award, and I thought it was kind of neat. You can still put the "award" on your sidebar if you want to and not "tag" anyone else. Up to you.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your prayers for me and for enlightening me about the Goodwill stores. I never knew what the money went for, so that's nice to know. Sounds like a worthy cause.
Have a blessed day.
Aw, your sockmonkey is darling. But cuter yet is your grandson. How wonderful to rejoice in him even while God is still knitting him together in the womb. He'll be perfect!!
ReplyDeleteOh how wonderful to see that little baby boys profile! Isn't that a miracle. Wow! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteI love your little tiny monkey! He is simply adorable! What a sweet DH you have!!!
