There is a picture here that didn't load--so ignore the x box if there is one--well after posting it posted the picture!! who knows if it will continue to show!! I think I have 2 of the same--ah well! Here is a close up of my little treat of an area--I can sit at my lap top and look out both of the windows!
I put my bird next and two of the bird houses together --and that brings a smile too!
Last of all my pansies enliven the dull winter browns. We have had some grey days---I definitely am affected by the weather!

I also found a little old book with short stories called, The Little Gold Ring. It was written in the 1920's and is really entertaining---sometimes I need a break from all the seriousness, and sadness , and suffering in life and in the lives around me----not sure if that is spiritually the correct thing, but the Bible does talk of laughter as a good medicine and studies have proven that to be true. Not that the Bible needs proving! So a little moving of furniture, and a few short stories and a more contented outlook. Why? Because , it gives refreshment
Your home always looks so charming! I love your desk between the windows. It's perfect!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful, peaceful room! I would love to sit there too and do all my blogging! I really like your yellow walls.
ReplyDeleteThe little book you're ready sounds perfect!

Your corner looks very inviting! You're right about moving furniture.....it does give one a lift (if you can lift the furniture to move it!). I don't do it often enough.
ReplyDeletePansies are my favorite flower, though the blooms are so delicate, and don't hold up well in the wind here on our farm.
what a sunny peaceful corner... good choice for your computer area... that would also be a nice corner to sit in to read...
ReplyDeletelove it!!

Everything looks lovely! I don't get into moving furniture! Too lazy.
ReplyDeletePansies last all winter around here, if they're up close to the house. Amazing.
Thanks for reading our stories. Makes it all worthwhile!
Kim - You just have been on my mind all day. I am sorry that you get the blues once in awhile. I know how that feels. Just remember God loves you and so do all your blogger friends! You are such a wonderful, encouraging woman of God and you lift my spirits all the time!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sharon
Your room looks wonderful....so bright and sunny. I am trying to not get too envious of your pots of pansies :-)

That's cute. I like the cheery desk space.
ReplyDeleteHi I've seen you at Mimi's and Sharon's and I thought I'd pop over and say 'hi'. You have a very pretty blog and I love how you arranged your Living Room. We recently moved our computer desk into our Living Room and it's much better.
ReplyDeleteBlessings.
Your home is so inviting and warm. I like to have a project when I am blue too. Jennifer
ReplyDeleteHad to pop back ove and see what your 27 year old plant looked like. My plants smile - there's hope! Jennifer
