Show and tell Fridays

Kelli at http://kellishouse.blogspot.com/ does a show and tell Friday--go there to register and others can view your show and tell!!

The above pics are memory makers--these are murals my oldest son did for me in our house. The little bird and nest are over a door in the dining room. The lighthouse--ocean pic is a section of a mural over my bed in the "master" bedroom ;-). I love having things the kids have done in my house--it makes it a home--a family place and it just makes things special and full of memories for me!!

  2. I especially love the bird's nest! In my last two home I dida lot of stenciling and murals. So far, nothing like that in this house, but maybe someday...

  18. How precious. I particularly like the little bird/nest. What an unexpected little touch above the door. My husband has collected lighthouses for years. He has quite a few pictures, etc. but no murals on the walls. Very nice work your son did.

Thanks for stopping by my place today. Funny story about your son playing basketball--I can just see a little one running down the court hands up!Is that the same son who did the art work?

  19. What a talent your son has - how wonderful to have his artwork upon the wall of your home. I have always wanted to have hand painted art on my walls - but if I tried it - my husband would have a fit! ( I can not draw worth a hoot)

    Thanks for sharing.

You asked about the figurine in mt fall decorations. It is from the Vintage Virtues collection by Kathy Killip for Demdaco.
