Well it is a sobering day. One of the things ( as I have mentioned to others) 911 taught me was the importance of hope and where I put my hope. 911 was such a sad time and the thing that helps me most in this pilgrim life is the hope we have in Christ. It says in Heb 12:2--"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." His hope--the joy that was set before Him--enabled him to endure. What He has gained on my behalf is what gives me Hope and endurance, Praise HIM. (ps the flag looks backwards because this is the view out of my window.)
Now because of that I can celebrate life and even stuff like getting tagged by Mrs. Elliot at http://unfoldinggrace.blogspot.com/ . She tagged me to list 5 of the craziest things on my desk. This is my easiest assignment--we just got rid of all of our desks!!! so the answer is zero!!! I put all of our desk items in one of my closets and my lap top moves everywhere. This freed up lots of space and we have several big tables when we need to do desk type work!! I am tagging Christy at http://sweetscooterbicks.blogspot.com/ However with her active kid she may never return to her blog!! And ps--I keep forgetting that Mrs. Elliot lives on the other side of the nation so a whole different time zone!! Wow. The above closet is where the desk stuff went!
