Well--I just had to record this because it made my day. I had to run an errand at
Walmart; Walking around doing her shopping was an elderly lady in her late 80's or early 90's. She was all dressed up as an angel and she was just beaming. You could not help but smile, she was so enjoying herself---I'm still smiling!!
I love it! I want to be like that. Those older women who still do so much and have such great attitudes are my heroes!

I love that! My mom passed away 2 years ago this month. She was 83 years old. She LOVED life!!! She love bright colors. We would go to Penneys and she would try on hats and strut down the isle.....she always made me smile...Thanks for the memories.

ReplyDeleteand I'll bet the little lady was a real angel in her actions as well as her looks... she was one of the little ones who grow old gracefully...
ReplyDeleteI pray that I grow old gracefully as well...
Don't you just love it when you look at someone and you just know that they have the lord in them.
ReplyDeleteThese women are our mentors.

That is too sweet and I just love your pumpkins from pictures!
ReplyDeleteThat lady knows how to shop proper. All dressed up with somewhere to go. Her most important accessory was her smile.
ReplyDeleteGreat new picture on the top of your blog! You have a beautiful family!
