New year / new living

This has been a week of changes. We are now moved into a condo and I am closing my Spindle Cottage blog since we are not living there. We are trying to simplify our lives and reduce clutter ! We are forced into decluttering by the downsizing and it is a good feeling. Hopefully I will get time to visit blogs soon. My hubby is sick and I may get it!

I want to do a few projects such as the memorize Philippians by Easter that is mentioned here

I love the start of a New Year. Fresh beginnings. Moving seems to make it more so. My daughters new baby is due this month too , so another new beginning.

My goal this year will again be simplicity.....and simplifying my life (it doesn't always work.....because, well, how simple is life??!!!). But I want to free up the clutter and be more focused on the important things. We will see how this goes......

  1. Happy New Year, Kim! I wish you all the best in your new home. You are doing what I need to do, and I wish you the best at it. I switched over and am now following this blog.

  5. Kim, I'm hoping both of you get to feeling better. That stomach thing is awful. Two of my best friends had it, and it was a several day thing. Sending healing prayer your way...

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  7. We need to move in order to force us to get rid of so much stuff. I hope you enjoy your new home.

My word for the year is "change" and I will be interested to see how that all turns out!

  8. I adore your condo and the light fixture, that would grown on me and stick to my fingers if I came to see you. I love your view with all the snow...

I see you closed your other blog and will follow you here now.

Decluttering is good for the soul, get our attention where it counts. Family, friends and those in need.

We took a big look around and decluttered too and still working on it. Since turning my life back on the lord, I find my interest were getting in the way. Now he is restoring some of them but they will not get in my way this time. I start my day with him and he directs my day.

God's Blessing to you and your sweet family!

    Will be back soon!
