rainy day reading

Photobucket The other day was what Pooh calls a blustery day. It rained and the wind was A BLOWING!! Great day for reading in a cozy room. This is a room we enjoy reading in! Photobucket I love my Kindle---and it is nice to be able to get 99 cent mysteries! --especially when you want some light reading! Photobucket It has nice big views out of the window. There is a large fountain and when it is nice weather you can open the windows and listen. Photobucket Photobucket The picture above shows a picture that sits over my piano. I love it because we get egrets in our ponds here at the condo. Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket So it was a relaxing day Photobucket Photobucket Minkey , my monkey had to join in of course!

  2. Sounds lovely! I like the cozy place to read as well, thanks for sharing it.
I don't have a Kindle. Not even sure how it works. Do you hook it to the computer and download books and then carry with? Or is it WI-Fi type gadget?

Hmmm...this might be worth looking into.

    ...enjoy your reading and relaxing!

  5. Looks like a lovely, relaxing day. Your place looks very nice!

I don't have a Kindle or Nook, and don't know if I will ever. I would like to have one for traveling, but I just think I'd miss books!

  7. That looks like a very cozy room to spend time in, reading or just daydreaming. I love the Picture that looks like waves in front of the old houses. What is it a picture of?

  11. I enjoyed your photo's of your room, it looks like the perfect place for a spot of reading. I think I would miss 'real' books, but I have to admit I'm also toying with the idea of a kindle or such.

    Happy New Year
    and
