Here is the machine---which always inspires happiness just because of its color and simplicity and happy kitty features!

Yes and here is the newest Monkey. This one is going to Corwin on his birthday in January. He has a slightly worried look--but he is not as worried as Alden's monkey.....perhaps it is because Corwin seems a tiny bit more sedate.
Photobucket Here he is with 2 of his buddies. He will remain with them for a month until he comes into Corwin's world.

He is enjoying hanging out with this gang for a while until he goes forth and travels to the new Corwin world which has plenty of monkey playmates too!

Until then he will hang out with this gang.....and et hem the dolls!

  1. Hi Kim, What adorable monkeys!! Oh how I would love to make one like that. They really are enchanting! I bet your grandkids will just have fits over them.

I do love their faces, I must say. And your grandchildren are lovely. Cute as buttons. :o)

BTW, I have a new grandchild too. I just posted photos of some giant flowers I made for a friend's new baby. You may know Trudy from Sewing with Trudy. I may have met you through her blog.

Any way, I thought I'd drop in and say howdy after my long 'vacation'. :o) It's so nice seeing new photos and your darling creations.

    Donna :o)

  3. Hi Thanks for visiting. It is the beginning of summer here - the temps are ranging between about 17 and 31 degs celsius. Yesterday it was 31, today 18. We have just had a very wet cool spring which is unusual for us, usually it is in the mid teens. The best part of the season is usually Jan, Feb when it is more settled. Thanks for your interest.

Did I ever tell you that my dad dies when I was 3...56 years ago...and a lady in town babysat for me during the funeral and gave me a sock monkey...always loved it. I don't know what happened to it.
Love the little green sewing machine.

  6. What a great little group of monkeys! My grandson is crazy about them... I tried to make one for him and ran into nothing but trouble. I sew a LOT and still couldn't make the whole shabang work.... Good for you that you've had such great success.... My daughter finally bought one for him. Hmmmm.... Bad grandma.

Is that a Toodles doll on the right? I think it's just like the doll I had growing up.

    Warm blessings,
    Spencer
