Bathroom Divas?

Sheila at notesongs is having a Bathroom Beauty Snapper on Friday , May 7--I am just ahead of the game here! ps. the music that is playing is just for today, probably but you will see why as you read further. --SO TURN YOUR SOUND ON IF YOU HAVE IT OFF--FOR THIS POST MY DEARS!! She tells us to take a picture of ourselves in the bathroom mirror. Well let me tell you.....my bathroom mirror here below is up high and is small. Man, I had troubles trying to take it.

So I took another one below in a bigger mirror in one of our bedrooms with one of my best travel buddies.

Minkey is my sock monkey that often goes on travel adventures with me. For example--to islands

Hmmm, is that trash in the background!! I don't think it could be here on this beach!!

To Mountains in the Seattle area-- which was a bit of a rough climb so that is why they look windblown.!!

And of course the Mountains in the NC area--

Minkey and gang have their own monkey blog here: http://monkeybusiness-nannykim.blogspot.com/ She also has a favorite song which you will hear playing if you visit her blog.(and it will be playing with this post here for a few days too) HEY Minkey seems to be taking over this DIVA Post!!!! But Sheila knows how that is---she has critters that take over her blog at notesongs!!!! WAY TO GO MINKEY!!

  2. Well look at you Miss Diva... looking good nanny Kim.
Of course your sock monkeys are adorable. Do you know Mrs. Magpie? I'm sure you do. She has a cute sock monkey in her beach house in St. Augustine. He was there to greet us. Sweet.
    Happy Divaness to you.

  6. Nannykim, I love this! And I love Minky and the other monkeys!!!

I have sock monkeys... lots of them, and I sometimes post about them. I will definitely have to check out your monkey blog. I feel like I've found a kindred spirit in the Land of BLog. A couple of my monkeys were in my post tonight. And what a darling song!!!

    Love this. I'll be back...

    Happy Diva Day!

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  7. You asked, I'll answer. The pictures were taken March 23rd. It was still cool. My birthday party "day" in St. Augustine was warm and sunny, but by the water we needed a little jacket. By the time we reached Miami Beach it had warmed up to 77. They had a terrible winter, Canada was milder go figure.
    Ok going to bed.

Great mirror photos, glad to see Nanny Kim! Yep, people will probably think we're weird taking pictures in public bathrooms! LOL!

Adorable sock monkeys, what a good idea to take them along on trips.

  12. Well, Nanny Kim, you took me by surprise. I thougt I was headed to Spindle Cottage! I'm afraid I haven't visited any of your other blogs before, this was a first. I guess I blog with blinders on!

I really enjoyed seeing all the family photos and meeting the sock monkey's. They are certainly well traveled!

You are as cute as I thought you would be. I don't think I've seen photos of you at Spindle Cottage. It's nice to have a face to put with the name.
    Hugs,
    Dawn

  15. I agree, taking snaps in a mirror is tough, I mean, where are you supposed to look, at the camera, at yourself? ha ha.

Your sock monkey's are so sweet and so lucky to get to travel to all of those wonderful places.

Thanks for the visit and the sweet comment.

  20. It's so cool that you have so many traveling friends! I haven't ever tried to take a picture of myself in the mirror. I have one my photographer took of me in my wedding gown, though.

  25. Ahhhhh you actually will never see pics of Mrs. Magpie. She is very adamant about not having her pic taken, and posted on the internet. She's a very private person. She's a doll really. She's my age.
So many are disappointed, your not the only one. I was too, till I saw her : )
I'm the type that has to put a face to a name. I talk to the "girls" on the phone quit a few times a month. I love it. Some can go on for years without meeting, not me. I'm fortunate to be able to visit, and have them here. Most have never been to Canada, so that's fun. I'm hoping Mr. & Mrs. Magpie come and visit. Jeanne, is next, along with CC from Catherine de thé cups.
Love the baby up there ☝cute as a button.
Ok I'm going to try and make a couple vintage bracelets with old pearls and small broaches. I'm getting them ready for grad : )
    Love Ya
    Love Me.
