Butterflies
I just had to share these pics my daughter took. It was right after we celebrated Alden's birthday (SEE POST BELOW!) I think I will link this to outdoor Wednesday here and SIMPLE PLEASURES Thursday HERE. Watching my grands discover this world is a pure delight.
It is such a pleasure to watch their facial expressions and their excitement over the little things in life. It gets contagious and it always invigorates me!!!

So cute, looks like they're having fun!
ReplyDeleteYes, Holly Hobbie is her real name. She said that for years and years everyone thought that the little girl she paints in the blue and white flowered hat and the patchwork dress was called Holly Hobbie. People were always surprised to find out that was her real name.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for visiting my blog.
Hope you have a lovely night,
Susan

These are fabulous photos! It is so wonderful to relive life again through our grandchildren, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteIt's no wonder you made that picture your header. It's marvelous with wonder. How beautiful the creator who works through curiosity and sight. We were in Oklahoma at the same time you were. We lived NW near Shepard Mall if you remember that. We stayed until we came in in '94. Small world, huh. Bet the Carolinas are prettier. We still own a home there. God bless. Coleen in Ukraine.
ReplyDeleteWonderful capture of the moment! It's great that the butterfly decided to hang around too.
ReplyDeleteKim, these pix are just fantastic. What a pleasure it is to watch the grandkids develop!
ReplyDeleteSuch treasured moments, captured so well! Nannykim, a visit from you is always a treat!

ADORABLE! Beautiful butterfly!
ReplyDeleteHi Kim,
ReplyDeleteHow are you? Great, I hope!
Oh you can make tags with stickers, photographs, whatever images you want..Mine are pretty elaborate with gesso and gel medium, inks, etc., but you can make you own tags out of heavy card stock or even cardboard...
I have a really cute image I made for people so they could make their own tag....It has a precious bird on it and says Count your blessings...
I tried to mail it to you, but I can't use that mail system on my computer (it's not set up for it.)
If you email me, I'll email it to you.
I'm at cindylou_20@hotmail.com
Also, if you scroll down on I Owe it All to Him,
you'll see the many tags I made...it will give you an idea of how different each of them are.
I also have pictures on there to run off copies to make your own tags....
Have a blessed day!
Hugs,
Cindy
