Been in the MOUNTAINS
I have been on a nice break with my family in the Mountains of NC
The colors were just starting to turn and the weather was so beautiful that every day I kept repeating the mantra--"OH< href="http://s638.photobucket.com/albums/uu104/nannykim_photos/?action=view¤t=IMG_8606.jpg" target="_blank">
Above is my daughter who is due in January to have a little boy. We were in stitches with her two other children trying to make up names for the new one. We kept giggling over the matter.
ABove is my oldest son and girlfriend who were able to join us this weekend too. He has just moved from Seattle to Charleston, SC. So it was great to see him. His girl friend lives in Charleston and that was why he moved. ..............yup, that is why!
Above are the gigglies who were trying to give names for the up and coming sibling.
We also hiked on another day to Pierson Falls
Alden kept us entertained. I can't believe his energy---he can walk as fast as we can when he wants to.
Canoeing was also part of the picture.

Dear Nannykim, How I loved these photos! Thanks so much for sharing your family trip with us. Seeing your son and hubby with the monkey cracked me up.
ReplyDeleteYour photos were just exquisite! What a treat to get to see them. And your grandchildren are just darling. How precious that they are trying to 'help' pick out names for their next sibling.
Have a great week!

Looks like such a great time, and a beautiful time of year for a get-together.
ReplyDeleteLoved to see these pics. I especially loved the one of your granddaughter by the falls. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your lovely family Nannykim!
Lovely photos, Nannykim, your little grands are so darling! How cute that they are making up names for the new baby soon-to-be-born. Looks like you had lots of fun, I'm so happy for you. The greatest joys outside of Jesus is being with the whole family together.

Had to laugh when I saw how "thrilled" your hubby looked posing with the sock monkey!! :D
ReplyDeleteToo cute!
I am sure you enjoyed your time with all of them together in one place--that's special!

Hi Nannykim,
ReplyDeleteLovely to be able to share your break through the photo's you look a happy family. I know how you must feel with your son living away. my daughters lived doors away from me. one has moved a few villages away which isn't so bad as its 7 monutes in the car. The other daughter has just moved into wales which is around 40 minutes away and every day I worry. Though we do manage to talk of the phone most days. I know we have to let them go but it's in a mums nature to worry.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend
