The mosquitoes were active at the picnic tables, but the beach was great.
This was Alden's first time at the beach and he was gung ho! He will turn one at the middle of July.

We had a weird weekend. The people changing the oil filter on my car broke it off--and I have to wait 4 days for a replacement cap. SOOOO--no car for a while. We also received some hard news for SKipper and ROTC stuff--not sure what will happen with all of that since he has not been able to pass his college math course which meant he could not graduate from college!! He has made 5 attempts to complete the math---he just can't do it!! We are looking into what this may mean (he had a ROTC scholarship)......we are praying.
nothing adds FUN to the beach like a couple of grandkids!!!
ReplyDeleteenjoyed the pictures...also the pics of babies visiting with great grand mom and dad...
praying with you that Skipper can pass his college math...
Thanks for the prayers---as of this moment he is seeking direction . He probably will not try to finish his degree.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like y'all had so much fun! It's wonderful to see kids just having fun! I am saying a prayer for Skipper!
ReplyDeleteWell, after further advice from the Colonel , Skipper is going to try one more class in the Fall...he will try to pass this course and this will be his last effort. (he will try to do some studying this summer and he hopes this will give him a better understanding of the material--)
ReplyDeleteOH~~~~ All of your pictures of your grandchildren are just priceless!! I will pray for Skipper also, life can be so hard sometimes. It was so sweet of you to stop by, I don't blog much anymore, for now anyway.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Ginger
I enjoyed your pictures. I love the beach. We enjoyed the beach for years in Southern California and then occasionally in Northern California. I don't remember any mosquitoes there.....I'm going to follow Dr. Atkins' diet--protein. I may have a steak on our anniversary.
ReplyDeleteVery cute and nice pics here, Nannykim.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear of all the troubles, and will pray as I remember.
We too had a nice time, Deb and I, on a beach near where we live, as you saw.
