I had thought about using a blue/white floral or toile to lighten things up thru the summer, but never tried it. You can click on "Cuban Style" and "Living room" for the living tour. Those crosses are actually only several years old and I think I got them in the garden section at Big Lots. My mother-in-law uses them a lot in her home in Puerto Rico, and I just love that style.Anita Diazhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10745164844001794566noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2159952229917348825.post-70752802157733249142011-01-19T05:03:10.536-05:002011-01-19T05:03:10.536-05:00So elegant! So elegant!Maharlikahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07405491985898892047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2159952229917348825.post-46544921172749077652011-01-17T23:17:50.808-05:002011-01-17T23:17:50.808-05:00Indeed it's a beautiful house and decors! I see you live in S.C.. When we lived in Charleston, I purchased it at In Good Taste -- where I taught cooking classes for a number of years. Now I find it in the grocery stores around here (Chicago and suburbs).

I never questioned nor knew there was any symbolic meaning re the church candles.
